We at CertifyWP want to help the WordPress community to receive WordPress credentials. We need companies like yours to help make a difference in the world and also in WordPress. Partner with us to sponsor underserved communities, underrepresented in tech, and people who are unemployed to receive their WordPress Management and Design Credential.

The WordPress community is hurting for a few different reasons.

  • There are major layoffs in the community. People are experiencing financial hardship.
  • We have a community who are underrepresented in tech, and we want to help boost that community.
  • The WordPress credential should be open to everyone in WordPress regardless of their financial situation or their underrepresented classification.

  • Having a WordPress credential helps solve the issues with hiring and helping people in the community get hired. CertifyWP is tackling this problem head on.
  • Sponsoring participants in order for them to be able to afford the credentialing fee helps the community in more ways than one:
    • Having community members licensed will help them gain employment.
    • This credential will open the door for new community members to come into the space.
    • It will save companies time and money in hiring new employees and contractors.

What will your company get out of Sponsoring 100 people to receive their exam license?

  • Individuals/exam takers that benefit from your sponsorship are expected to write a testimony about what they love/like about your business. You can use this testimony on your website/social channels to promote your sponsorship as well as your company.
  • Your company logo in the footer of the main CertifyWP website and exam website. 
  • Your company logo, description, and link to your website on the CertifyWP sponsorship page listed under global sponsors. 
  • Shoutouts on socials: Twitter, Tumbler, and LinkedIn, on a rotating basis (1x a month- 12 times a year).
  • Logo at the bottom of the exam certificates. 
  • Be a part of our digital gift basket that we will send out to all of the WordPress Management and Design Credential holders once they pass their final test.

What does sponsoring look like?

1. Sponsor the first 100 Exam licenses

Be the first to sponsor people in the WordPress community to receive their credentials. This is a great way to show your support of the WordPress credential and the massive need in the community. You will have the bragging rights of being the very first!

2. Sponsor 100 women in Tech

Women are in the underrepresented category; however they stand on their own. We need more women in tech. This is an amazing way for your company to show your support or Women within the WordPress community and women entering into our community.

3. Sponsor 100 members of the underrepresented community

WordPress is striving to be inclusive of everyone in the community. We have a subset of community’s members who are deemed underrepresented. This is the community that we need to reach to grow where they are no longer underrepresented in Tech. We can show our support and inclusivity by helping these individuals achieve their credential.

Once you sponsor how will CertifyWP fill the exam licenses?

  • CertifyWP is working with Underrepresented in Tech to match our sponsored exams with the right people.
  • CertifyWP will also be shouting your sponsorship out on social media along with the sponsorship applications.
  • CertifyWP and the LearnDash pages have applications for potential test takers to apply to be sponsored. We have designed the form to be able to match each person with the best sponsor.
  • Word of mouth is the best way to grow the WordPress credential. Along with our regular social media post we will also be on podcasts promoting the credential along with your sponsorships.

How much does it cost to sponsor?

CertifyWP- WordPress Management and Design Credentialing License fee.

In comparison to other industry level credentials the WordPress Credential is cost effective.
